Booking & mobile service

Do you offer mobile car detailing in High Point, NC?

Yes. Glassy Detailing is a fully mobile detailing service based in High Point, NC. We come to your home, office or apartment with our canopy, water and professional tools, so you never have to drop your car off.

Do you travel outside High Point?

Yes. We detail in six Triad counties every week: Guilford, Forsyth, Davidson, Randolph, Alamance and Rockingham. We also travel across North Carolina by appointment, including Charlotte, Raleigh, Durham, Wilmington and Asheville; call or text (336) 646-0339 to plan a date. See every service area.

What do I need to have ready for a mobile detail?

Just your vehicle and a spot where we're allowed to set up, like your driveway or a parking space at work. We bring the canopy, water and professional tools. If you're booking at an apartment complex or office, check that detailing is allowed in the lot.

Can you detail my car while I'm at work?

Yes. Plenty of customers book us at the office: hand over the keys, get on with your day and come back to a clean car. We just need permission to work in the lot.

How do I book a detail?

Book online any time at bookedin.com/book/glassy-detailing and pick the time that suits you. You can also call or text (336) 646-0339, or email kindaglassydetailing@gmail.com.

What happens if the weather is bad on my appointment day?

Our canopy lets us keep working through light weather. If conditions are really poor, we'll reach out to move your appointment to the next good day.

How long does a detail take?

It depends on your vehicle's size and condition and the service you book. An exterior detail is the quickest, a full detail takes longer, and paint correction or ceramic coating takes the most time. We'll give you a time estimate when we confirm your appointment.

Pricing

How much does car detailing cost?

For small to mid-size vehicles, an exterior detail starts at $65, an interior detail at $135 and the Glassy Full Detail at $175. Paint correction starts at $180 and ceramic coatings at $750. Try the price builder for an instant estimate.

Why do trucks, SUVs and vans cost more?

Bigger vehicles have more paint, glass and interior to clean, so they take longer. For trucks, full-size SUVs and vans, the exterior detail is $120, the interior detail $150 and the Glassy Full Detail $220.

Is the Glassy Full Detail worth it?

If you want the inside and outside done, yes. The Full Detail ($175 for small to mid-size vehicles) costs less than booking the exterior ($65) and interior ($135) separately, and it's all done in one visit.

Can I get a price before I book?

Yes. Use the price builder for an instant estimate, or text photos of your car to (336) 646-0339 for a custom quote. Final pricing depends on your vehicle's size and condition.

Paint correction

What is the difference between a polish and paint correction?

A 1-step polish ($180) boosts gloss and clarity. Paint correction uses machine compounding to remove defects: our 1-step correction ($300) removes around 70–80% of swirls and imperfections, and our 2-step correction ($600) adds a cutting stage before the finishing polish for maximum clarity.

Will paint correction remove every scratch?

It removes swirls, haze and light scratches. A 1-step correction typically removes around 70–80% of defects, and a 2-step goes further. Scratches deep enough to go through the clear coat can't be polished out safely, so we'll inspect your paint and tell you honestly what to expect.

How much does paint correction cost?

A 1-step polish is $180, a 1-step paint correction is $300 and a 2-step paint correction is $600.

Can you remove water spots?

Yes. Water spot removal is $130. Spots that have etched into the clear coat need polishing, which we'll quote after looking at the paint.

Ceramic coating & PPF

What does a ceramic coating do?

A ceramic coating bonds a glass-like layer to your clear coat for deeper gloss, strong water beading, UV and contaminant protection, and much easier washes. It isn't armor: it won't stop rock chips or deep scratches, but everyday dirt and grime release far more easily.

How long does a ceramic coating last?

We offer 2–3 year ($750), 5–7 year ($1,150) and 10 year ($1,400) ceramic coatings. Real-world lifespan depends on the coating you choose and how the car is washed and maintained, and we'll walk you through aftercare.

How much does a ceramic coating cost?

Ceramic coatings are $750 for 2–3 years, $1,150 for 5–7 years and $1,400 for 10 years. We also offer an exterior ceramic package ($1,000) and an interior ceramic package ($450).

Should I get paint correction before a ceramic coating?

Usually, yes. A ceramic coating locks in whatever finish is underneath it, so most cars benefit from at least a polish first. We'll look at your paint and recommend the right level of correction before coating.

Do you offer interior ceramic coating?

Yes. Our interior ceramic package ($450) protects seats, leather and trim, so spills and everyday grime are easier to clean up.

What's the difference between PPF and ceramic coating?

Paint protection film is a clear film that physically absorbs rock chips, from $2,400. A ceramic coating adds gloss and makes washing easier but won't stop chips. Many owners put PPF on the front end and coat the whole car.

Interior, odors & pet hair

Can you remove smoke smell and other odors?

Yes. Smoke, pet and other lingering odors are some of the most common interiors we take on. Car odor removal starts at $65. How deep an odor has soaked into the cabin affects the result, and we'll be upfront with you about it.

Do you remove pet hair?

Yes. Pet hair removal starts at $80 and can be added to any interior detail. Let us know about pets when you book so we can plan the extra time.

Can you get stains out of seats and carpet?

Most stains lift with a deep shampoo, and customers are often surprised by what comes out. Very old or set-in stains may lighten rather than disappear completely, and we'll tell you what to expect.

Tint, headlights & more

Do you offer window tinting?

Yes. Window tinting starts at $220 for sedans. North Carolina requires side and rear windows to let in at least 35% of light (SUVs, trucks and vans can go darker behind the driver), and we'll help you pick a legal shade. Call or text (336) 646-0339 for a quote.

Can you fix cloudy, yellow headlights?

Yes. Headlight restoration starts at $65 and brings oxidized lenses back to clear, with a protective coat to help them stay that way.

Do you clean engine bays?

Yes. Engine bay detailing starts at $65. We work on a cool engine, protect sensitive electrical parts and rinse gently instead of pressure washing.
